Hi @kingu, I'd just like to state clearly on behalf of the SecureDrop team that the code of conduct applies to all SecureDrop-related work, including translations. While we can refine details of it, its existence is not up for debate, and radical changes like the ones you proposed in https://github.com/freedomofpress/securedrop-i18n/pull/4 are not going to happen.

@eloquence "The SecureDrop team"? No need to illustrate my point. I'll never kneel to false authority. Report back. It is not needed now, like it wasn't needed before, and it does zero good. Reflecting the quality of strings within SecureDrop, it is clearly not where effort is needed. Refinement is somehow justified now, when you imported it wholesale. When it matters you all scour. You can't recite half of it, and you can't virtue signal on part of the people doing your translations. We are the same people not using it on Hosted Weblate, to add a violation. It doesn't apply to anything I do, before or after. Ban me.

The Code of Conduct does apply to translations, as well as all other projects associated with SecureDrop. Since @kingu has refused to abide by community guidelines, as stated in

we're proceeding with deactivating their accounts, starting with here in Weblate. @kingu if at some later date you'd like to re-engage with the project, you must agree to abide by the community guidelines stipulated in the Code of Conduct.
