Request for translation and review of SecureDrop

The SecureDrop team has commenced their two-week localization period for SecureDrop 2.7.0 starting October 12, 2023.

The project can be accessed on: https://weblate.securedrop.org/projects/securedrop/ The Priority languages for the upcoming release are: Arabic, Catalan, Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), Czech, Dutch, French, German, Greek, Hindi, Icelandic, Italian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Portuguese (Portugal), Romanian, Russian, Slovak, Spanish, Swedish, and Turkish

Note from developers: Kindly prioritize review for all languages after translations ahead of the next scheduled release!

This is a reminder that translation is now open for the SecureDrop Client! Languages that reach 100% translation and review coverage by 2022-06-28 will be included in the upcoming 2022-07-05 release of the pilot SecureDrop Workstation and Client.

The translation window for the SecureDrop 2.4.0 release has been extended to 2022-05-23 00:00Z. We are especially in need of translation and review for the following languages:

Hindi (hi): at risk of losing support in SecureDrop 2.5.0
Romanian (ro): at risk of losing support in SecureDrop 2.5.0
Slovak (sk)
Portuguese (Portugal; pt_PT) was added as a new language in this cycle but will not be able to be included in SecureDrop 2.4.0 unless it reaches 100% translation coverage.
